The Essence Of Servanthood

The Master of the Universe
Has offered up His all
The Sacred, Holy Son Of God
Has given us the call

Exampled in the finest sense
His service to us all
That we may live a righteous life
If we but listen to His call

As brothers in the Church of Christ
The gift of service show
Tis done as to the Son of God
That all the world may know

This willing service that we give
In offering ourselves
To edify the Church of Christ
And build the Church forever

We cannot know what service is
Unless we've seen it happen
Through Jesus Blood and sacrifice
Redeeming us for Heaven.
